OMG I almost forgot it was my day to blog! But now that we're all up and we've had our tea (or coffee as the case may be), I'd like to introduce you to my alter ego, Theresa Black.Theresa and I go back. Way back. You see, she's my middle name. I didn't have a whole lot to do with her until I was in the fourth grade, when I decided to be Theresa, instead of Gina, for a while. I'm now thinking this could be the result of the most difficult relationship I had with my fourth grade teacher Mrs. Buffum. In other words, adopting a new guise might have seemed like the right way to restart our relationship, without all that baggage attached to the old one.
Isn't that, essentially, what a pseudonym is for? A new beginning . . .
And that is just what I'm doing. Whereas Gina wrote a Restoration romance that finaled in the American Title contest, Theresa writes young adult fiction (with romantic elements). She is almost finished with the first one and plans on doing the query push soon. In honor of all that, she has created a new cyberhome for herself and she invites you to visit her new place.
(And strangely, although Theresa writes in the first person, she finds it very easy to refer to herself in the third person. Go figure!)
So do tell . . . do you have an alter ego?

I have a feeling Theresa is going to be wildly successful!
No alter ego for me. Yet.
Maybe one day...
Very cool! I have considered an alter ego, but none have come forward...
Oh Maria, wouldn't that be grand? I sure hope she can handle it if that happens. ;) (Of course, she always has *me* to keep her in line.)
Ruth . . . with your improv skills, I can only imagine there are a solid dozen alter egos just waiting to step forward.
